Federal Collections
The State Library has been a member of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) since 1895. Administered by the US Government Publications Office (GPO), the program provides free, accessible, and permanent public access to federal government information.
Currently, the State Library receives about a quarter of all publications distributed by the GPO annually. The State Library collects and provides access to items of state and regional relevance, such as:
- Census Data
- Code of Federal Regulations
- Congressional Record
- Occupational Outlook Handbook
