Email Subscription Service
Our Email Subscription service has been designed to meet the unique needs of our Business Service Division's customers. This service allows you to set specific subscription preferences ranging from general information notices to entity record updates and official communications. Any communications required by statute will continue to be sent via the US Postal Service.
General Information (Notices)
The RI Department of State will use this to distribute information and notices communicated to the general public. Most notices may impact the business community, such as changes to statutes or filing procedures. Notification of service outages, weather/holiday closures and announcements of new programs offered by the RI Department of State may also be sent to users of this function.
Business Entity Updates (Record Updates)
An email notification will be sent whenever a filing is completed for your entity, which will include formal notices issued by our office. Any authorized representative of the entity may set up this service using the User Profile Update Page. This option can be used as a tool to verify our receipt of a filing and to protect against corporate identity theft.
Official Communications (Communications)
An authorized representative (i.e.: officer, director, partner, member, agent, etc.) may subscribe to receive official communications via email. This service option allows more than one person to receive these important notices. At this time, our office will use this system to remind filers that their annual report filing period is underway.
