I enjoyed the warm hospitality extended to me today. It was good to see you and Margherite.

I appreciated this opportunity to visit with citizens in Providence, and to be with you for the plenary session of the CONEG Energy Summit. Your efforts in convening this Summit are gratifying; courageous leadership and coordinated programs are essential if we are to successfully meet the energy challenge before us.
